To unlock the Wishful Painting Scroll, players first need to advance to the latter part of Chapter 3, “The Sea of Bitterness” (after completing the Giant Turtle section); after reaching the Sea of Bitterness, go left and you will see a house; then walk into the sea next to it and you will see The boss fight “Chen Long” (it’s easy to miss it due to the dim screen).

After obtaining the elixir, go back to Chenlong to unlock the “Ruyi Painting Scroll” and enter the painting directly. NPCs such as Chenlong, Shenhou, and Xugou will also enter the painting simultaneously (they will no longer be at the location where they were first encountered) ). Then light up the Earth Temple next to the alchemy furnace and you can teleport back at any time.
Chenlong will also live in the painting. Players can give plant seeds found everywhere to Chenlong, and it will help players plant them. After that, they can go back to “collect vegetables” every once in a while.
When unlocking the Ruyi scroll, the new NPC “Yin Hu” will appear in the painting. It is the blacksmith in the game and can help players upgrade their armor (clothing) and improve their defense. Some early equipment may have useful set skills but low defense. After upgrading, the defense can be supplemented and the armor selection will be more free.
In addition, when talking to Yin Hu, you can choose “Challenge”.
